Well this should be exciting. People keep telling me to start a blog so here goes. Who knows if those same people will find it interesting enough to read. I guess I'll just say what's going on right this moment. Sydney and Russ are both asleep on the couch while Savannah is awake from her nap but I haven't gotten her up yet. We went to church like always and everyone decided they were tired when we got home.
At the moment I need to figure out what to make for dinner. I asked Russ to get meat and spaghetti sauce last night so we could have spaghetti today but he came back with two things of meat and no sauce. So know I need to figure out what to make with spaghetti noodles and ground turkey with no sauce. It's the beginning of the month and I haven't gone shopping yet so there are slim pickings. I guess I'll just need to be creative.

Fantastical!
OK now you just need to have Russ put a link on our family blog so everyone can easily move to yours. He could probably put links to some of our extended families blogs as well but yours is the one that actually matters.
Well I'm glad your blogging its a great way to keep in touch!! Now you just have to make sure to post pictures, too!! By the way I heard the story about Savanah and the chocolate, very cute!!
In response to your question on my blog about the devil's food cake...
It's a pretty large recipe- it yields 3 9-inch layers. That being said, most cake recipes that are for bundts require less batter. I think if you want to make 2 bundts with this recipe, I would make 1 and a half recipes. That is the equivalent to about 4-4 1/2 cake layers or two boxes of cake mix.
Or you can double the recipe and use the leftovers for cupcakes that you can freeze and eat later. Hope this helps. Best of luck on your baking journey!
